Residencial Cala del Torres is located in Playa del Torres, an area of Villajoyosa on the Costa Blanca, Alicante province. The developer is building 164 apartments and penthouses here, less than five minutes' walk from the beach. Delivery is planned for December 2028.

The development

On the roof of one of the blocks there is a pool with a panoramic view, chill-out areas, a barbecue zone and a gazebo, plus an indoor lounge. There are also tropical-style pools with beach-style access, a heated pool, a children's pool and a heated jacuzzi. Residents can also use an indoor and outdoor gym with a calisthenics circuit, a putting green and a mini-golf course. Each apartment has its own parking space and storage room.

The surroundings

Villajoyosa, La Vila Joiosa in Valencian, is a fishing town with an old centre of brightly painted houses on the beach. It is known for its chocolate factories and has a harbour, a long promenade and the town beach Playa Centro. Benidorm is 8 km away, Alicante 30 km. The tram to Alicante and Benidorm stops in the town. The regional hospital Marina Baixa is in Villajoyosa itself. Alicante airport is about 40 km away.

The homes are not yet key-ready. Delivery is expected in December 2028. Five units are currently available, priced between 339,000 and 650,000 euros.

A new-build apartment usually comes with a communal pool, a lift and a parking space or storage room. The owners share a monthly fee for the upkeep of the common areas.

You buy off plan here: the home is built after you sign the purchase contract. In Spain the builder must cover your stage payments during construction with a bank guarantee or insurance. Completion follows the municipal occupancy licence.
